Mission Statement:   Unleashed Mobile Veterinary Services will enrich and lengthen the lives of companion animals by integrating current preventative medicine with appropriate healthful nutrition and fitness programs.

Unleashed Mobile Veterinary Services advocates a healthful pet. We believe that by addressing the whole animal and practicing individualized preventative programs based on risk factors of each animal, the general health can be improved and enhanced.

It was long believed that annual vaccinations were the basis of preventative veterinary medicine; however, this is no longer believed to be true. The burning question remains; are we over-vaccinating our pets?

At Unleashed we offer tailored vaccination protocols based on your pet's risk factors as well as vaccination titers. Be sure to ask Dr. Nugent or Nicole about vaccination titers for your pet.

Despite the very personalized services, mobile veterinary service is not neccessarily more expensive than traditional veterinarians. You will find that Unleashed Mobile Veterinary Services is about the same cost as other veterinarians in the Southeastern Michigan area. Please call for a quote, and we feel you will find our prices fair and comparable.

Unleashed Mobile Veterinary Services runs by appointment only. We try to make ourselves available when you need us most and do offer evening and weekend hours. We pride ourselves in being flexible in our scheduling.

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday 9am - 3pm

At Unleashed we pride ourselves on being a small business with personalized services for you and your pet. When you call Unleashed during normal business hours you may reach our voicemail if we are busy assisting another client, or treating an animal. Please leave a message, and someone will return your call promptly (usually within 30 minutes).

If you are calling after business hours, someone will return your call the next morning unless your call is of an urgent nature (we always check our messages). Again, please leave a message.

Unleashed Mobile Veterinary Services has complete surgical capabilities. We use fast acting anesthetic agents that allow quick, easy recovery for your pet. We have found that most pet owners are more than able to care for their pet post-operatively and the animal can stay in the comfort of their own home.

Frequently, animals will experience complications such as vomiting or diarrhea after surgery due to both the stress of the surgical procedure, as well as the stress of being hospitalized overnight. If your pet has had surgery, Dr. Nugent can always be reached should you have questions or concerns regarding your pet's recovery.
